Internships

Internships are offered during the following times: Winter/Spring (Jan-Apr), Summer (May-Aug), and Fall (Sep-Dec).

We are currently accepting applications for the Summer semester. We are looking for interns to help with our summer programs as well as our normally scheduled classes. Intern Positions available:

  • Healthy Me Lead Intern (4th-5th grade): Mon-Thu 10:30AM-3:30PM, hours can be a little flexible but you must be present between 12:00PM and 3:00PM. You will be in charge of planning field trips or guest speakers and presenters for our summer camp, helping the other interns in your group plan their activites, and interact with children and their families.
  • Healthy Me Intern (4th-5th grade): Mon-Thu 10:30AM-3:30PM, hours can be a little flexible but you must be present between 12:00PM and 3:00PM. You will be planning a one hour activity for each week of the summer camp. You will also be interacting with the kids and contributing to the summer camp newsletter.
  • South Franklin Program Coordinator 1: Mon-Thu 3:30PM-7:30PM, hours can be flexible but we need a minimum of 15 hours from our interns and you must be present for certain classes. You will help plan an event like a health or job prep fair, help with parent meetings, take attendance for our classes, and post to our social media accounts.
  • South Franklin Program Coordinator 2: Tue-Fri 3:30PM-7:30PM, hours can be flexible but we need a minimum of 15 hours from our interns and you must be present for certain classes. You will help plan an event like a health or job prep fair, help with parent meetings, take attendance for our classes, and post to our social media accounts.
