Volunteer With Us

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us at the South Franklin Community Center, we are excited to work with you!

Here at the SFCC, we offer a variety of volunteer opportunities. With the current COVID restrictions, we are working on modifying our classes to make them available to community members who want to participate both in-person and remotely. Many of our programs are based on the skills and interests of the volunteers; for example, we have hosted drumming lessons and dance classes in the past. Please let us know if you are willing to teach something unique to the South Franklin Community.

Our standard programs include music lessons, computer class, cultural adaptation, and Homework Help.

COVID-19 Volunteer Agreement

Dear volunteers:

You will be required to take your temperature and wash your hands each time you enter the building. If your temperature is over 100.4, you will be asked to return home. A properly worn mask (covered mouth and nose) is part of South Franklin Community Center's dress code - please keep it on while on the property. Please maintain at least 6 feet of social distance from all other volunteers, staff, and community members at all times. If someone who tests positive for COVID-19 enters the building (or receives a positive test result less than 3 days after visiting the Center), we will be required to shut down operation for the semester. This community center is an essential part of many people's lives, please do not come if you feel ill or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive.
